the tunabomber!
You won't - the end of the video said that this will be in the v2.0 of the Melodyne Plugin, which costs $250 and can run inside Live as a VST plugin.Angstrom wrote: You have to respect the guy for some serious groundbreaking! "hmmm, for impossible you will have to give me a few extra days" . I think this looks like an essential purchase ... as long as I don;t have to splash out on 'studio' to get it.
I just got to the end of the video I just kept watching the middle over and over again repeating "fuck , fuck fuck"nebulae wrote:You won't - the end of the video said that this will be in the v2.0 of the Melodyne Plugin, which costs $250 and can run inside Live as a VST plugin.Angstrom wrote: You have to respect the guy for some serious groundbreaking! If you get the studio, then you can do multi-track pitching and what not, and my guess is that you'll be able to change keys on a multi-track level.
My jaw has literally dropped...I'm seriously astounded that this is now possible...can you imagine, just imagine the possibilities??!?!?!!? Holy fucking shit?!?!?!

I've seen videos of and worked on drum loops in Melodyne, and it's literally just like midi and super simple. If they have a way to unmix drums (which I'd assume isn't far away if they can decode a multi-timbrel guitar - Holy Shit, just saying it out loud astounds me!) then you should be able to do everything you just saw in that video with drum loops.nowtime wrote:They didn't demo any drum loops. Only guitar and piano. I wonder....
