Reaktor Electronic Intruments 2 VSTs with Leopard

Post by unitard » Mon Mar 10, 2008 5:13 pm

Hello,
Is anyone else having trouble using Leopard and getting the EI2 VSTs to show up in Live 7? I am able to load an EI2 ensemble into the Reaktor VST but the individual EI2 VSTs don't show up in Live. Any suggestions?

Also note that my EI2 VSTs show up correctly in Cubase 4 and SX3.

Thanks,
tard

are you using a custom vst folder ?

I have some plugs that refuses to show up in a custom dir but runs fine into the system default on.

I'm not on leopard, I'm on 10.4.11 but it could be a good path to sucess

Nope, they aren't. The first UB Reaktor version was 5.1.2, and the XT VSTs use an unreleased 4.5 version.

EI2 are UB compatible, it's not actually really an issue as the EI2 instruments are ensembles that open in a UB version of Reaktor and not plugins themselves.

Ah... he was talking about the XT version's separate plugins; and not the Reaktor ensembles.
