The Hamerfall Pcmcia card is awesome, 1.5ms of latency if your recording stuff and then just pop it back up to 10ms when your just fiddling around mixing stuff. Its only £190 and you can just use your exsiting multiface or digiface with it. Hurray, thats what I do and its wicked

edirol FA101
there are almost no results yet for the FA101. I would definitely go for the 1814. As I said, the ADAT light pipe is a really useful thing!
Re: edirol FA101
what do you mean? there are several reviews of the FA101 online, including one in the current Sound on Sound which are very faverable.... to my knowledge the 1814 is not shipping yet?Spacerboy wrote:there are almost no results yet for the FA101. Re: shipping
come on! edirol is really quality stuff, it's roland............... of course the m-audio stuff is good (i use a delta44 for a long time now) but the FA101 is at least as good as the m-audio stuff......... i used a friend's FA101 on my system..quality stuff......... of course if you need ADAT it's not an option..Spacerboy wrote:the 1814: i held it already in my hand here in vienna!
FA101 - no ADAT - which is not a bad feature...and the price difference is not a lot...and M-audio is by far a better brand...
