I'm thirty-five; I used to be "old for my age", now I'm "young for my age".

One nice thing about making music/art is that generally age has nothing to do with it. It's about the quality of what you produce (or at least it should be).

Ok - before this starts reading like an AOL profile... And, no more self-pics.

examples/reasons?
Examples: Gang Starr.
reasons: It's like watching children learning how to walk. But these children are being paid to advocate violence, intolerance and insolence. I could go on but it's depressing.

IRTTOP: 30 is good. That means you have something to contribute other than fake tits, tight abs or your glock. Welcome

Ajbbklyn - I see you decided at a young age that your left side is your photogenic side.

LOFA - Gangstarr is a band, Guru is a rapper. I guess DJ Premier might be an older dude too. I'm sure you know that, just sayin...

"that's funny, I don't feel tardy" is my reply to the age thing, 'cause you'd have to be around 35 like me to get the reference. I feel more like a kid who's been around the block a few times.

just a point of correction, maynard is in his 40s now. He was in his late 20s when tool started getting national attention

Now that I'm a dinosaur (30) too, I can say I dreaded the years 15-30. Thirty is like the new 18. It's like you're not supposed to act like a jackass anymore so you do things more purposely. While that may be a drawback, I think it's only when you let it.

I started getting into the digital end of music less than 5 years ago, though I did other variations before that. If I saw myself back then I would have had little patience for them.

So what I'm trying to say is there is always an audience. PM when you got something your proud of. I look forward to it.

Hell yeah, age matters a ton. Anybody under forty is a punk ass.

i'm 20 but feel like 40..

^
any idea how much i hate comments like that? A lot. Nevertheless i suppose its true for many students and so on. There is a lot of pressure on us but one thing i don't have in common with most is that i can drop the stress to around 0 by composing and working with the music

On top of that:

Every morning i wake up now i feel fresher and look better. Interesting!
How? Weight lifting, drinking a good amount of water, eating healthier, biking a moderate amount etcettera.

It fucking works!

I don't think its ever to late to start that even, so just get going and you'll quickly get more energy and be fresher. Heck i think my required amount of sleep has dropped a few hours

So just get working out. Its not a hoax heh
