Is there a limit to the number of chord members? or can I take a stereo concert band recording and explode it? Imagine live middle school concert band recordings could become flawless performances. 8O

Good cop version: Have to agree. I think some people are jumping way ahead of themselves. It's not like it takes a complete produced track and isolates a single instrument and than breaks that down into individual notes. So nobody is going to be revamping hendrix or pink floyd songs with this thing.
A string quartet might give good results, though..
But I'd like to see what it can do with instruments or sounds that aren't plucked or hammered. Can it seperate vocal harmonies? I think it has it's limitations.

No.. It can't separate one instrument from another instrument. Just notes of a chord.
Suit #1: I mean, have you got any insight as to why a bright boy like this would jeopardize the lives of millions?
Suit #2: No, sir, he says he does this sort of thing for fun.

I laughed when i read this comment on another board which had a post to this:

"That guy they were interviewing seemed pretty cool. I love it when homeless people make up their own languages."

The only drawback to this is that if Celemony makes too much money then the bearded dude will shave and get his teeth bleached and thus lose his innovative powers. :( Hippies rule!

the most amazing part ...
12:00 , he opens a Chet Baker song and starts tweaking the trumpet notes separately from the backing track guitar and bass.

8O

as he says ... it can be used on whole mixes (with varying success of course)
