ableton disables plugins in rewire

why does ableton disable plugins when its a rewire slave ?????

It's in the re-wire specifications.

It can be done (some other DAWs do it so i hear) but perhapsAbleton want to keep to the rules.

sad but true ... although I really would like to have plugins in rewire too...
