Any Max/MSP users?

Works fine here. In max's preferences, do you have MIDI Yoke 1 Input off? and in Live do you have MIDI Yoke 1 Outs - Off ? That would give you a feedback loop if you have these enabled. You might just have remote enabled in Live, thats why it crashes when you try to fire clips.

Thanks for all the help.

I have now got it working the way I want. I think there was an issue with my version of max and after installing the demo version everything is working fine.
For those who have also had problems with this, have midi ox or some similar program to read what midi is passing between your programs. In Live, make sure the midi port you are using is turned remote on.
