Kontakt - "delete" not applicable to plug, seen by Live

Sorry if this has been covered, but when I try to delete anything in Kontakt by hitting backspace, Live intercepts the command and deletes whatever is selected in Live.
G5 Dual 2.5 2 gig RAM OS 10.3.4

you've got to check in kontakt's options: 'keyboard: capture from host', or something like that.
