Brother man, I have not made a "dumb" post in my life. Period. Maybe misunderstood posts, possibly posts that could have been worded differently or most likely, posts that went miscomprehended. Incidentally, I was not "wrong" about anything. Musical opinion is subjective. Therefore if I say something is likened to a bowl of warm shit, so be it. There can be no "argument", only opposing OPINION. No more or less valuable than my own.
<hint - when someone says to 'unleash the badgers', stop.>
When someone writes (not says) unleash the kracken, the hamsters or whatever , I usually think "CLIQUE" In other words "useless elite social" banter. Slightly amusing though.

as for my attitude, see thefool's post, he can teach you a few things.

maybe you can teach me something, that'd be great. I don't recall what you might know but posters often surprise me.
You've been a huge help to me so if I can be of help to you just let me know. All you have to do is goggle drxparamental to know I have a more than fair knowledge of recorded music. I seriously doubt however that my high level of esoteric musical knowledge would be of ANY interest unless you fancied hard/heavy/pop/psych/prog/fusion/zeuhl/folk from the 60s/70s/80s/90s/00s. All I know and 4.00 will buy you or anyone else a fine cup of...
now back to sensible audio talk
for which I can personally think of no one that I would rather learn from when it comes to digital audio engineering than TD.

BTW. What's with everyone's aversion to VST? It would seem like even the simplest mind would equate Virtual Studio Technology to more than just a trade mark plug in type. I would say that the term clearly encapsulates all DAW, all computers used for music production and all software contained for related purposes there in. How can one logically by definition of the term itself argue different?

Peace,

Bro, i've worked at record stores, been an onair dj, club and bar dj, am a fanatical collector of records, been a recording/mixing/mastering engineer, taught engineering and elecronic music, and am a musician.

i wipe my ass with your knowledge of music.

or at least how smug you are about it.

you don't like autechre? that's fine, i don't give a shit. But go ahead and say some ignorant shit about it and i'm calling you out. It's painfully obvious that you have any idea how to create music like theirs, yet you're telling us that it's easy to do.

LM, answer me this and PROVE yourself. If you collect records, who is Active God?

What is your eBay title?

why are all the records you mentioned above the absolute commonest knowledge?

What radio station have you DJed for?

What books have you contributed to or have you written yourself?

what is the rarest record you own?

how many titles have you yourself reissued?

how many vinyl records have you yourself played on?

now who's calling out who LM?

So I did.

And the first five pages "Goggle" came up with referred to about 50+ music related discussion forums with your name all over them.

I wonder if you're as popular and well-respected on them as you are on here.

Or, in other words, how do you find the time to listen to any records if all you ever do is post on web forums making a cunt of yourself?
