Automat 1.0 - AGAIN!

Got this too. Looks like all letters are in the same place, on top of each other.

This is my new japanese localized version of automat.

No seriously. I forgot about that. It's an old bug back form the early days of automat (0.10). I'll put it on my fix before release 1.0 bug-list.

Go to http://www.alphakanal.de:4356/articles/category/readme and read the 'side chain' part.
Essentially you set up an audio track and route its' output to the Automat track.

I still get the chinese looking font though.

I wonder if it's related to the problem where automats font is upside down when wrapped in novations automap plug-in wrapper?

Question: Those funky modulation envelope things sure are nice, but what about good old fashioned mod wheel and aftertouch? Are they left out intentionally (let's call it "the ableton way"), or have they just not been implemented yet? Or have they, but I don't know where to look..?

I'm really happy to see, Stiwi, that you keep on evolving your great softsynth for our ear and composing pleasure !

I download your b25 today, and am glad to be able to use multiple instances of automat in live without glitches.

May I present a personal wishlist ?
(beat me if this is unrespectful, I love your little synth and you deserve great repect for your work!)

here it is:

1) MIDI PROGRAM CHANGE ABILITY

(would be really great, for instance with preset names like "001 - fatbass", "012 - fakemoog", etc, that the user could change at his will -just put the midi prog change number at the beginning of the preset name ....)

2) PROGRAMMABLE PORTAMENTO

(the glide is cool, but would be great with adjustable duration and curve values)

3) PARAMETER DISPLAY

(a little screen at the top of the gui, for instance, displaying the mouse-tweaked parameter and its precise value) (but the ableton's live plugin edit window shows everything, so this wish is not really vital

4) BACK-TO-preset-DEFAULT-PARAMETER-MOUSE-RIGHTCLICK

moving a pot... no, that was better before moving, rightclick on the pot, aah, back to the former better value...

I should stop here, I know nothing about programmation, just that it is not easy

you could stop working on this synth, it is ALREADY really TOTALLY BRILLIANT

(my virus Ti is getting more and more dusty...)

And I just want to add that I am desperately looking forward to being able to use automat in mono mode with legato. Is that not coming until the final release Stiwi?
