Playing simple loops sounds crappy compared to Acid

Dunno what I'm doing wrong here...

I start a new live project, let's say 110bpm. I add a 91bpm bass riff loop. When I play it back it sounds sorta choppy; you can tell it's been time-stretched. However, when I do the same process in acid, the loop sounds fine.

Is there something simple I am overlooking in Live that will smooth this out ?

(I'm sorry if this issue has been addressed previously- I spent an ample amount of time pouring through these posts trying to find someone with a similar problem-but becuase I came up empty, I figure I must be doing something incorrectly)

oh, well...

here comes the bad news : yes. it sounds bad.
here comes the good news : it will sound much much better in the next update

( for those who kind of like the way our current timestrech sounds : of course you can still have it. you can set the timestrech algorithm for each clip individually.)

Thank you - at least I know it's not something I'm doing (or not doing). I guess I'll be looking forward to the next release!

That's great! Some better sounding timestretching would be nice for some things. But, I also like the way you can mangle sounds with the pitch knob too. BOTH would be really nice.
