I think also we need some advanced parameters for "random" waveforms of lfo (square, triangle, saw and sine types, or at least just square and triangle). such as up to 8 (or at least just 4) values and chance for each value.
and other idea is creating "random" waveform by setting up 8 value variations with waveform selection and chance for each value.

that helps creating more logical "randomness", because sometimes (or most times) we need to somehow ignore "parasite" values that doesn't fit to what you need from output sound, and keep some groove.

I think it is highly doubtful Ableton will make this kind of plug-in now that they will be collaborating with C74 - this is exactly the type of thing that you would probably make yourself, or download from some other user who does

it would be wonderful if Ableton collaborate with Cycling 74, but I think Live also should have it's own midi LFO device.

13/7 ?
just to illustrate my point. what i mean is you can make a lot of interesting rythmic effects if you can type in your own signatures. 13/7 is one that i've never seen in a drop-down list, which is why i used it as an example.

what if ableton is colaborating with cycling ? just becuse they are doing "something" ( its been allready like one year and all we've seen is one page of text)

Anyway , live needs as a electonic music software lfo's , to modulate anything even vsts, and with the posibility to modulate parameters of another lfo ,like the rate.
