I'm wondering if someone would be kind enough to give me directions on how to midi sync the Axiom 49 with Live 7?

Why would you like to do this?
The Axiom is just a MIDI controller. There is no need for synchronization with Live.
If you experience a delay when recording MIDI you might want to look at the latency settings of you sound card and Live audio settings.
