Begging for support of Novation Remote SL compact

I just received THAT from Novation Support:

The encoder on the SL Compact acts like a potentiometer, and you have to pickup values. This is because the SL Compact is an emulator of the Remote SL. We do not write the Live template here, it is written by Ableton, and they did not write another template for the SL compact.

I suggest contact Ableton on this matter.

PLEASE ABLETON, WRITE A TEMPLATE ESPACIALLY FOR THE REMOTE SL COMPACT TO SUPPORT THE ENCODERS FOR VOLUME/PAN/FX WITHOUT FETCHING/SCALING/JUMPING OF THOSE VALUES.

i don't own it, but perhaps i'll buy it in the near future.

but what is the display showing, when ableton is not supporting the sl compact?
nothing?
or can i edit the text in the novation-editor for each controller?
