Novation Remote 25 as a midi IN device

Hi
I have a Novation Remote25 Midi controller and can't get it to control Live - Live does not receive any data from it but does see it.

Anybody know if there are any issues with this setup?

I have 4.0.1 and all the latest drivers for soundcard/remote 25 and so on.

Any tips/hints/thoughts gratefully appreciated.

Ok I got it wto receive mid not info only - wont respond to play/stop etc or any of the controllers like sliders and buttons. Help!

what Remote OS version does the Remote have?

There is the new OS for the Remote 2.xxx, I upgraded and the Remote functions properly for me...before I had numerous problems

You have to make sure th eknobs/sliders etc ar esetup to transmit the right types of signal on the 25 and you also have to assign/learn them in Live. Have you done all that? Set this up once in your start-up Live set then save it as a Live template.
