When I'm working in a clip's sample display in Arrangement view, the hotkeys for resizing the grid don't work. Only the hotkey for turning the grid on/off works.
The only way I can resize the grid in this situation is to switch to the clip's envelope editor, then right click on the clip's envelope editor.
Is there any way to resize the grid when in Sample Display?
When in Sample Display, grid resize doesn't work
Anyone?
Now, if I change the grid width in the Envelopes view, the change doesn't carry over to the Warp view.
Let's say I set the grid to 1 bar in the Envelopes view. Then I go to the Warp view. It says the grid is set to 1 bar, but if I drag the Start Marker, it moves in 1/16 note increments. And since I have no way to change the grid width in the Warp view, I'm stuck. What gives?

I started a thread recently about the same issue.

command 4 will toggle the grid on/off however when the grid is on it is always 16th notes in the clip waveform view. In the envelope view, it works as it should , however in the clip waveform view one can only toggle between 16th notes or no quantization.
So for me this issue is still unresolved.

I poked around a bit and that's what I saw. I think I just learned to work around it, a weakness I have from Live being my own DAW, I haven't had other ones to train me what to expect. I just use Live and move on. I was on Sonar when Live 3 came out, been into Live ever since.
