My girlfriend and I both use Live as our main sequencers.

Sometimes we will create a sound in Logic and bring it over into Live, but we are doing this less and less.

Live is my main tool.
Had a sniff on the new Logic 8 as well,
but I really think that Live is more than
enough for my needs.

However, an update to the way you can work
within the arrangement view would be great.
I would really like to see a more traditional
DAW way of selecting and moving tracks in
addition to the way it works today.

Live is my everything.
However, the few tracks I've had mastered were done with PT and a bunch of fancy analog gear.

Yeah, me too. Its my only sequencer these days, although I use Wavelab to master and do audio editing stuff.

Going to need a new computer soon though. The extra CPU needed in Live 7 is enough to push my current one too close to the edge.

I wish Live could be my one and only, but for real audio recording/mixing it is just too lacking in features still. I was really hoping v.7 would tie up these loose ends, but they chose to introduce a bunch of optional instruments instead of staple features like auto-crossfading/overlapping, multi-take recording/comping, track folders etc...

I always thought I'd be using Reaper to "fill in the gaps" until Live caught up, but it's been two new versions now and it feels like Reaper is catching up to Live faster than the other way around. But it's not so bad having two main programs; sometimes you just need a change of scenery.
