PC messages don't make it through Live.

if i send MIDI CC or note data into Live everything works fine. but if i send PC data (which is not targeted to Live, but to an external device on the other end of the signal chain) into Live, Live absorbs it before it can make it through and get to the box i'm trying to send it to.

i can work around this by using a MIDI router and setting up a MIDI hub, but it sure would be nice to keep a simple system, and just daisy chain the four pieces of MIDI gear.

is there a way to tell Live to let the PC messages pass through?

Have you enabled the midi output in the prefs?

yes. all midi outs are enabled. sync signal makes it out just fine, but not PC messages.

Some CC's / Sysex and PC messages are not passed thru Live for reasons that have yet to be made clear.
