It took me 6 attempts and 3 reboots to get this update downloaded last night. I didn't know what what going on.Angstrom wrote:have you guys considered making torrents available?
I've tried 3 times to get this download and it fails each time.![]()
the most bytes I ever got were 19,098KB just now.
This is the first Version 7 release to make it onto my main workstation. I am so pleased! all my projects loaded without issue, my CPU load is %20 lower!
I think torrents is a great idea. there needs to be more legitimate use of torrents.
Very unstable here as well on windows xp pro. Going to stick with 702.
First major instability ive ever experienced with live.

7.03 is sometimes trying to re-install content as live-packs or something. also it asks me if it should overwrite existing files. this happened twice on start up. But then again I started it various times without asking me for that stuff. Could be related to the two different libraries I am using, but I never had such thing before when updating. I always cancel those update requests as I don't want to mess up my library. Anybody else experiencing such issues?
Did this work?thefool wrote:Ok so install 7.0.3, remove 7.0.2 and then reinstall 7.0.3..pr0jekt2501 wrote: I've had this happen when updating versions.
I think this happens when you first install the update, then uninstall a previous version.
If you reinstall 7.0.3 again, it should fix the missing samples problem.
Thx going to try that, this happened for me too
Had same issue but reinstalled 7.0.2.
cheers

Similar thing with me recently from uninstalling 7.0.1, even before installing 7.0.3! Today I installed 7.0.3 just to see what would happen, and everything's okay again.Raphta wrote:Did this work?thefool wrote:Ok so install 7.0.3, remove 7.0.2 and then reinstall 7.0.3..pr0jekt2501 wrote: I've had this happen when updating versions.

How are you guys getting the download to work?
I'm stuck on my second try...
[later] Never mind: looks like FlashGet is getting it for me OK...
Don't know why that makes a diff but whatever works!
