Future Music just had an article about how Ableton doesn't have it. It talks about how to use Logic's groove with Ableton rewired as a workaround. I have Sonar and can do the same thing with that, but I would rather they add it to Live 8.
I would also like dual montior support. Nothing too fancy, just Session View on one screen and Arrangement on another. Since I don't use Sonar anymore, I find myself really using Live's Arrangement view more and more, and I think it would be bad as shit if I could have a two monitor set up!!!!!!!!

if Session cannot hold 'arranger' clips I will do a final toggle to Arrange and remove the TAB key from my keyboard..

firstly, yes I agree you should certainly do that.
Secondly, that icon is terrible. In what way is this
->
'Surprise'
it looks more like 'mildly nauseous'
I demand a better 'Surprise' emoticon

It looks like the "Retard" icon.

I voted "Track Folders" since this has already been introduced with the Drum Racks, I figure they've gotta at least finish the job.
Like many I have my personal wishlist, but I think "most likely" we will finally see something with Cycling, and it'll probably be awesome enough to make me forgive them for all the things on my wishlist that won't get added in.

please... make possible our dream: making our big diy controller with leds and buttons to control and to get a feedback of all information necessary (clip slots grid, playing state, clip type etc etc)
cause all knobs, faders are already mapped, but what about the clip control ???
please!!!
can Ableton tell us
more about that ?? and ...
when???
a lot of us are waiting for that in order to plan and schedule our making of controller!

Mosca, i own Cubase and am trying to ditch it, so the features you say I'll buy Cubase are ones I want implemented in Live so I can dump those arrogant pr*cks at Steinberg HQ, Hamburg on their ass.
I don't recommend anyone buy Cubase right now, their attitude pain sucks, still on a dongle, Cubase 4 is a nightmare of epic proportions that has many owners still running SX3 because Cubase 4 doesn't work and Steinberg won't do any tech support on Cubase 4 unless you reinstall the operating system and reinstall the program and all your vsts and drivers to make a clean install. Although the core of the program in terms of MIDI and audio is still good for a linear DAW.
So I'll have that crossfading audio clips on arrangement, proper dual monitor support and folder tracks as my main priorities so I can burn Cubase and dance a merry jig around the ashes.
A better timestretching algorithm and session automation would be nice adds though....
I wouldn't worry too much about what Future Music thinks anyway, this magazine and CM (anyone actually buy this for it's reviews , always 9/10 regardless of how good or bad it is, the only people I know who buy it do so for the freebie Zebra CM synth) are pretty much in the basement as far as I'm concerned.

the fact that session automation is loosing show more users are not looking for 'live' features.
it's a sequencer, we need this.

its a poll of what we expect, not what we want.
I voted vocoder, because I expect it.

I'd like to see a record overdub for audio with options to record over or replace. This would be especially cool for using in live situations when you miss a take. If somebody tells me this already exists I've got a new best friend.
Also session automation with more familiar session arming buttons like everybody is already used to.
