you only use AU's in logic, you cant still run vsts on a mac in other hosts.

when i say i cant find it in Finder i cant find the system vst folder that works in live.

if you had a vst folder working in live, then it's path would be displayed in the preferences

so it is confusing to me why it is not find-able

also I'm sure there would be some distinctively named things in it which could be searched for w/ spotlight

?

i know where my custom vst folder is because i created it and set the file path up in the preferences in live, the thing is tho is that is doesnt appear in lives browser. the only vst folder that appears is the system vst folder which i cannot navigate to to put my vsts in.

Hi,

there are two system Vst folders, one "global" one and one user-related one:

Global:
Mac HD/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST

User:
users/your-user-name/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST

If you want to use a custom VST folder, please simply choose it in the file/folder preferences and rescan the plug-ins.

Are your VST plugins UB? They need to be to be recognized and run on an IntelMac.
