i'm quite disappointed with some strange behaviour of live's delay compensation. the story is old but there were some news for me...
i've recorded midi to the midi track with monitor-on (vst synth) and at the same time also recorded the audio track with monitor-off from that midi track... the result is ok until i've turned that midi-track's arm-record button off... live's compensation has shifted the recorded audio track for 10 or 20 ms... i don't understand - why do the arm-record button of the 1st track affect the 2nd track compensation? it's really a pain to hold all prevoius recorded tracks with arm-record buttons on to avoid this...
the other question to ableton crew - is it possible to make a little window for the each track that will show how much it's compensated by live in samples?
is it possible to make an ability to turn the delay compensation off for one track not totally?
