What's The Deal With Native Instruments and Live 4.0?

I'm wondering if anybody else has had the same problem with the official release. Absynth just brings the whole program crashing down and my Kontakt Dosen't exactly work the way it's supposed to when using inside live 4.0. Is there a fix on the horizon from ethier N.I. or Ableton?

Please make sure you have of all your software the newest version. Live 4.0.1 is the newest version of Live. For most users Kontakt and Absynth work fine.

dont know for kontakt. but you have to update absynth to 2,05 on osx or 2,04 on pc

I have had almost no major issues with Absynth2 andLive4.
Both are updated as recently as possible...and on PC.

I'm having a lot of good results with Absynth and FM7 as VST plugins under Live 4.0.1; Kontakt however sucks the life right out of the system. Don't know if this is the reason for the crashes, but it's bound to be part of the problem.

I had problems with Kontakt and live until I updated Kontakt to v.1.5.3 Then, no problems.

No problems with NI stuff here, EXCEPT when I insert a new NI instrument while the song is running. This crashes Live 4 about half the time. Reactor is almost guaranteed to crash Live if I try opening an instance of it while Live is playing.

try not to use kontakt's reverb. they eat up a lot of CPU. i had some patches running without prob in cubase, but once in Live the cpu meter would get stuck at 100%. then after removing the reverbs it was back to 'normal' values.

Kompakt has been updated today - version 1.0.3. Hope it fixes the problems.
