Glitches and pops using Apogee Duet in Live 7.0.2

Hi,

I'm experiencing pops and glitches while using the drumracks in Live 7.0.2
I use the Apogee Duet firewire card.
It doesn't matter if I adjust the buffer size or latency, the pops remain audible.
This never was an issue with the Motu 828 mk2 and M-Audio Audiphile Firewire card.
The other DAW's I use don't have these issues, just Live 7.0.2

My set-up:
OS X 10.4.11
Macbook Pro 1.87 Ghz
2GB RAM
80GB Hard drive (50% free space)

I have to add this, I do use a powered USB Hub with 3 midi controllers connected to it, could this be the cause because I can imagine these USB devices do use a lot of bandwidth.

Help is really appreciated.

Hi,

please turn off Airport first, the latest update by Apple introduced problems with the audio engine (also in other apps).
Do you still experience the problem?
If the problem persists, please contact [email protected] with your log.txt attached. You can find the log.txt here:
user/library/preferences/ableton/live 7.0.2

Thanks a lot!

It must have been the airport update, I turned off the airport and bluetooth and everything started working the way it's supposed to work.

Thanks, I was having the exact same problem, and that solved the problem. Do you know if apple will be addressing this problem with their airport update?
