Lives internal audio processing

Post by Me, Myself & I and I » Wed Sep 08, 2004 3:09 pm

Hi!

I wonder if Live is processing its internal audio signal always in 32bit Floating Point like other applications or differently.

If 32bit FP this would also mean practically "unlimited" headroom of the audio channels - no clipping!? (of course not for the master out!).
And if so, why isnt there a 32bit rendering option provided?

Thanx.
