Help with Novation Drumstation and Live 6

Whats up guys? I have decided to start using an external device with live. The thing about the Drumstation, is that its just a sound module, meaning I need some sort of sequencer to trigger the sounds. Instead of getting some sort of sequencing VST or something like that, I thought Id try to figure out Live's onboard devices. I have made a midi track, and a midi clip. I wrote in some midi notes, but they dont seem to send to the Drumstation. I use a UC-33e controller For live, and I have sent a midi cable out of the controller, and to the In on the drumstation. I have set the midi receive channel on the drumstation to 01, and did the same on the launch area in the clip, where it says "Bank." In the actual device config screen, I do have Output selected going from the UC-33, and Ableton shows that it is sending commands, just nothing is getting to the Drumstation. Just a little bit about this piece of equipement, for those of you who dont know, it actually has the genuine sounds of an 808 and 909 in it. You can probably see why I want to put this thing to use, seeing that I am a House DJ. Any help would be appreciated people, thanks!

Nevermind, I poked at it long enough and figured it out.

Just for anyone who has the same problem as me: For some reason when I made a MIDI Track, I couldnt send midi out in the I/O Settings. I made a new track, and it had the ability to send out for some reason. It works now.
