Drum Rack Simpler defaults question

Hello, I am wondering if anyone has had the same problem as me with drum racks, and if anyone might have a solution.

I followed the directions for setting up my Simpler defaults by setting up a Simpler the way I want it and dragging it into the Drum Rack defaults folder.

However, it only works when I drag files from Live's browser. When I chop up samples in arrangement view using ctrl+e and drag those chops directly onto drum rack pads, it does not work.

I think you make your perfect "default" Simpler and then use that preset for both dropping samples "on drum rack" and "on track view", as well as in the Instruments folder, all in the Defaults folder.

Cope, thank you for the reply. However, I am still having the problem:

Although I have dragged a Simpler set up with the Release knob all the way up, into both the 'On Drum Rack' and 'On Track View' folders under Defaults in my Library, it only works if I drag a sample from Live's browser onto a Drum Rack pad.

If I drag a sample directly from Arrangement View (which is the way I prefer to work), the Simpler that opens up on the pad still has the Release set to 50.0 ms.

Has anyone else noticed this and/or possibly knows of a fix?
