anyone have this problem? after hitting the play and stop buttons in live, the on and off messages from my controller get reversed, so that pressing down a key sends the off, and letting up sends the on. happens all the time without fail that starting and stopping in live flips the messages back and forth. i'm no midi genius so it could be a problem with my setup. here's how everything's linked: midi in/out on fw1884 plugged into in/out of a virus b. midi controller keyboard connected via usb directly to the computer. live midi channel is set up to receive 'midi from' the usb controller, and then 'midi to' to the virus via fw1884 midi out.
this doesn't happen in other programs, and disabling the 'control port' for the fw1884 doesn't help (thought this might be a problem since the fw1884 transport sends midi messages via the control port).
