Cracking sound introduced when rendering music to disc.

Using Live Delta when rendering a clean sound track to disc using a 44100 sample rate the resulting wav file has faint crackling sounds in it. I can use a really high sample rate to avoid it but the resulting files are huge and not compatible with CD playback. Any one else had this problem and found another better solution?
