If it does I'll buy one - looks like a very nifty bit of kit - any user opinions?

Hey rhythminmind,

I posted the same question in the Presonus forum. Does the off button to disable the motorized fader work with your patch? I'm asking this since I don't own a faderport and it would be nice not to hear the fader moving all the time.

Thanks 8)

I don't know of the off button to turn off the fader in any software. It usually just turns off the automation of the selected track.
FYI - the Fader is powered by a wallwart. If you unplug the power supply the faderport will still work but without the motorized fader as you requested.

Also if Live is your main DAW i would get a natively supported controller. I have the faderport for work in REAPER/protools & i wanted it to work in Live aswell being it's my main music tool.

Thanks man. I use PT and Live 50-50 so your workaround to make the faderport usable in Live is what I was looking for. The alphatrack fader sucks and I'm used to P&G and Alps faders like the quality one on the faderport.

Great work you've done.

I don't own one yet but I do need a one-fader solution as I always mix in PT. I'll be getting one soon together with a nocturn for controlling plugins.

But, if you add substantial features, why not making it shareware with a donation option? You're doing some nice work on this issue.

Peace.

Before I drop the cash - what would you say the pro's and con's of the unit are Rhythminmind?
