Terratec DMX 6 Fire USB

I thinking about´getting this: http://www.terratec.net/en/products/DMX ... _2084.html

Seems well priced and has the goods.
Any thoughts, experiences, opinions welcome.
Casio keyboard with 48k ZX Spectrum, a couple of tambourines and a triangle.

good lord, I had no idea this existed! I used to love my DMX 6fire PCI card: best soundcard I ever had I reckon. thanks for the link...

Hi, don't have any knowledge on this model...

But I do have a Terratec phase 26 usb, 2 in 6 out.. Had it about 5 years now, good solid construction and reliable. I use it for playing out, not for studio work, so yeah terratec in my experience are OK..

i used to use the pci version. it is decent, but for the price maybe you should check out other firewire cards by the likes of tc electronics, presonus, m-audio, etc. the pres on these newer cards are better as well as firewire being more stable and affording more bandwidth. i use tc konnekt 8d now, and i think the pres are really good. beware though that konnekt 8d has a bit of a driver issue for both osx and windows.

What are Pres?

The RRP for the Terratc is 250€ but I've seen it for 200€

He's referring to the Microphone or line in Pre-Amplifier.

Cheap ones sound.... cheap.
