Problem with arpeggiator hold when recording clips

Post by otter0623 » Wed Apr 16, 2008 10:19 pm

i am finding a problem when recording midi clips with either Ableton Instruments or other Vsts. If the arpeggiator hold button is engaged
those midi clips still sound after changing scenes and does not shut off
unless I stop that track. Any thoughts?

Thanks Karl

Hello otter0623,

With Hold active, the pattern will continue to play after the keys have been
released. Only stopping Live will stop the pattern.
Hold is useful to play an arpeggio pattern without starting Live - in your case you might probably use the note length to define the length of the arpeggios rather than hold itself.

Best,
Christian
