When people say electro these days it's a short term for electro-house or electro-something.

Music press and their hype sub-sub-sub-genres... :roll:

I have no problem with electro-house except that stores need to label that shit "electro-house". Trying to to find true electro now means trying to figure out a) if the store know wtf it's talking about and b) if it does not, wading through a shit ton of stuff you don't care about while searching for what you want. True electro just gets buried most of the time..............

This whole genre thing confuses the hell out of me.

I guess I make post industrial dark ambient electro experimental electronic music.

She's very adament about what electro is, and is not.

Personally I don't care weather it's electro house, clash or cuted if i like it, I like it.
