Well, i gotta say after seeing the list of the overall changes, I was not over the moon.

It seemed a very small fix, but after using 7.05, all my glitchy/dropout sl problems and also my crashes when changing my latency settings have gone. 8O

I am most impressed (fingers crossed). Stability at last! :D

I hope this is a long term thing for me. So far, I'm loving 7.05.

I love you Abes! (again) :D

7.0.5 update

Post by kueland » Thu Apr 24, 2008 2:11 pm

Is it just me, or is this update a lot faster than 7.0.3
Load times on both empty and populated sets are dramatically improved!
Haven´t had time to check if the glitching caused by the airport is gone yet, but everything seems well for now.

Well done! :D

One of these days, I hope to read that you implimented Markers As Cue Points as an added feature. Until then, every update is a letdown.

15" PB 2.5 Ghz, 4 Gig RAM, 750 GB HD, Live 9 still no cue points or program change messages?!?. Doesn't do shit.

I had severe problems with ASIO4All after the first load of 7.0.5.

I'm not sure what I did, but after a restart it works fine now.

Never saw this happen before or after an update.

The symptoms were severe and oscillating buffer overloads with no devices loaded - just 2 channels of silence for output - no input channels enabled.

Me wants to know too because it'll be a pain to D/L again. Why are the Abes so distant lately? :(

Hi,

You should be fine with the version you have installed. There is nothing new in the new downloadable file, as far as I know.

Kind regards,

Suite instruments gone

Post by nils808 » Fri Apr 25, 2008 9:22 pm

After updating to 7.05 for windows all my instruments are gone. What happend? In the preferences all instruments (Operator, Sampler, Electric, Tension, Analog, Drum Machines) are listed as authorized but all presets and samples are gone. The drum machines do not even appear in the instruments list.

Anyone else having this problem?

Wow... I'm a little psyched now. I've had some pretty serious glitch
issues on my desktop computer lately. I really hope this update will be the
remedy. Curiously, my laptop seems to handle stuff a lot better, so it could
be my audio interface that's the culprit. Even on my laptop, however, I get
quite a bit of audio pops at certain points - more specifically when I play
back some filter automation. The CPU meter never exceeds 40%, though.

Everytime I change my buffer settings I get a 'blue screen of death'

I've never had this with any other version of live. Anyone else having similar problems?
