i have a DEll m1730????

Dell xps m1730...which is somewhat a gamming system....the reason y i got it is because...

-Intel Core 2 Duo Extreme X9000 (2.8GHz/800MHz)
-4GB shared dual channel DDR2 SDRAM at 667MHz
-17" ultra sharp true life wide-screen
-NVIDIA GeForce 8700M GT

is computer going to be a problem with ableton? or am i going to be just fine?

***the reason y i ask is because someone said this particular computer was made for video games...XPS is made by Alien Ware and i know they are VERY good in the industry...i dont know im just being paranoid lol

Hey there...

your system will run perfectly, cant see anything that would be a problem...

dell makes good computers and xps is their gaming system, they had it before they got a hold on Alienware, and the only thing is that the main focus is games which requires a discrete graphics card and a good screen, and pleeeenty of speeeeeeed...

so the difference would be that if you only intend to use it for music, u payed a shitload of cash for a graphics card you wont use... which i assume you cuz u bought it in the first place
