Is the mapped correct? Novation SL and Ableton

Post by evanb » Sat Apr 26, 2008 2:09 pm

So I auto mapped my novation zero remote. When the automap server starts it says 1 client connected and no hardware found.

I can however control ableton to a point. All of the right faders work and I can turn the channel off with the button under the fader and I can turn the arm on for that channel, the transport buttons work as well

The left side for most filters pr plugins works but the drum pads do not work and the knobs above the pads do not either. Is ithis the right template for ableton or are the pads and knobs usually mapped? I thought I would be able to turn on each clip separately and also switch between the filters without using my mouse

you have to switch to the ableton profile, at least that's how I do it. If I want to control some vst then, I just switch to the automap profile then.
as far as I figuered it out, the new automap doesn't work properly with ableton.
I put a dollar in a change machine, nothing changed.

Seems to be working now, but I am unable to use the drumpads or the knobs above the pads for anything? is this normal?
