7.05 missing samples on clean start-up! ???

Hi kabelton,

have you just uninstalled a former version?

Does it help to uninstall and reinstall 7.0.5?

i tested all my sets...and there is always that missing warning, but there are no samples missing... that can take me into bad situations when a file is missing and i think.... ah, thats only that stupid message...

i deinstalled live 7.03, yes. to reinstall? hmm..i can try...

Same here. Working after reinstalling 7.0.5.

Same here. Reinstalling helped.

I suspect it has something to do with the way the update was installed. I first installed the update and expected it to _replace_ the previous version, but they appeared side-to-side, so I removed the 7.0.3 and it started to show "Samples Missing" message all the time.

In fact it's a bit frightening to uninstall and then install (the update) as it always feels that everything (live packs and presets) will be lost in the process. I think it would be friendlier to _replace_ the previous version in the safest way automatically.
