How can i control the CLIP parameters LENGHT and POSITION

Post by kostistlac » Sat Apr 26, 2008 3:42 pm

How can i control the CLIP parameters LENGHT and POSITION with my JP-8080 knobs. I have tried to map my knobs to the little boxes displayed LENGHT and POSITION but it doesnt work. I found out that these parameters can be controlled by PC keyboard (NARROW UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT and CTRL) but its not handly and not very precise. If it´s not able please let me know if the any MIDI controller can do it. Maybe UC33?

any assignments made to the clip window will be for _any selected clip_

not tied to the one in which you made the assignment.

is that the problem you're having?

... other way. Have you tried moving these parameters until you playng clip? Is there any other chance to control this parameters by MIDI controler (for example by UC33) the same way as you do with narrow on the PC keboard.

I have no controller to test. However I'm fairly sure it should be no problem, so I have no idea why you're having problems

sorry
