Drum Rack Automation, is it possible?

Hi is there a way to automate Drum racks so they behave like Fxpansions Gurus midi automation? In Guru, you can get your midicontroller to ONLY control the current selected pad. You can use the same controls to automate any drum pad as long as it it "selected". Example:

You can have 8 knobs on your midi controller and you assign them to control "tune, filter, resonance, envelope controls" etc of your first pad(kick). Then, when you select the next pad (snare), and turn the "tune" knob. The snare pad gets affected and NOT the first pad(Kick).

It would be great if it's possible!
