Send them through a guitar amplifier. Depends on the sound and what your looking for. Consider if you've ever a heard the sound of an electric guitar recorded direct before it goes to an amplifier you can see it does a lot to make an enhanced sound.

You haven't lived until you've heard your Synth orchestra patch through a Marshall stack. 8)

nah dont think that will do much

i ran a few VSTi's through my voyagers filters, compared it to Vminion and in some instances Auto Filter in Live.. fuck-all difference.

its ur patches and how theyre used in ur mix that makes more difference than voodoo boxes.

Well there is one box that will do what he's asking for sure, but its waaaaay out of price range for most.

Friend of mine has this thing and it can make even the weakest source material sound like a massive analog modular. But lots and lots of money.

Listen to this MP3 & how it takes this weak little digital synth and what it does to it. As for beefier fatter, I don't think you can get much better.

Pulse modulator by audio damage works well I think. I use it on bass patches and it makes the sound massive. Works great on 303 type sounds especially
