Anyone out there playing GTA4?

Post by 1ntelligent Fraud » Wed Apr 30, 2008 10:23 pm

Picked up a copy today. Music's probably going to get put on hold for a bit. Couple hours into it and this is shaping up to be one of the best video games I've played in a long time. The Atlas Shrugged of video games.

best game that I can remember playing in a LONG time. It's competing with studying for my law finals, though, which is bad :)

it's awesome. still feels like gta with way better graphics. i got the 360 version yesterday. no more working on beats for this week... :?

oh btw, multiplayer is the shit. i haven't laughed that hard at a game in a while. 16 people at the same time. i mean you can do all the same stuff you normally do... with 16 other people. fucking awesome.

i hope rockstar hurries up with the pc port. had to wait a year for the san andreas conversion to pc. that game took over my life for a few weeks!

I'm 12-13 hours into the game and I'm still having those "Oh shit! I can do that?" So far one of my favorite things to do is sucker punch someone and get them to hit you back in front of a cop. You'll either see someone taken away to jail or an always entertaining gun fight. Tuff Gong is definitely my favorite radio station too.

Shit, I've never played any of these games, but this does look worthy of buying an XBox 360 just to give it a go. Then Craig's List the fucker in 2 weeks when I'm sick of it.

i was going to the same thing with guitar hero 3 and skate but that was 4 months ago. i'm pretty sure my 360 is going to be here for a long time now that i've got this. the story so far has been pretty good and i'm only like 11% into it.

Funny that someone with the s/n Marx would bash Ayn Rand. She would probably hate you right back. The electro station's pretty solid but I can't listen to that kind of electro house for very long. The insane amounts of compression get to me after a while. Classic is a really badass station too. Honestly I'm impressed with all of the stations. I've heard Coltrane and Sonny Rollins on the jazz station thus far, a lot of Bob Marley on Tuff Gong. This game's amazing.

Having picked up a PS3 (wow--HD Blue Ray!!!), I am loving it but also it is taking me away from my music. I will need balance. I'm still amazed by Call of Duty 4.
