Importing Wav files into Ableton problem

Post by blue-rinse » Fri May 09, 2008 6:46 pm

Hi. I've been using Live for a number of years for djing and production and it has always been solid. Now I just purchased a boss digital recorder to do some spot recording and for whatever reason when I try to import these wav files I record into Ableton, things are a little off. Live is reading them a little off, bpm and start marker wise. I just dont get it, I've never had problems with this type of thing before. It should be very easy to export files from my digital recorder into Live. Any tips on how to imprort wavs in this scenario? Please help thanx

Live doesn't do warping and setting of warp markers automatically perfectly every time. even when it does things pretty good, I still set the '1' by hand and check the warping.

play with them a bit, I'd bet there's a consistent nature to how the recordings are treated in Live.
