Style of the Rising Filter (Breaks)

Post by Lo-Key Fu » Thu May 08, 2008 4:53 pm

Hey all,

Recently chunked out a new 12" mix which is a bit rough-n-unready at the moment (and not professionally mastered yet), but all the more reason why I'd love to hear some blunt & genuine critique of if any of you have the time and inclination.

It's recently been uploaded to my Myspace Profile, and is currently the first track in the player ("Style of the Rising Filter").

All opinions most appreciated!

You're right in that I like the ideas in this one, but at this stage I'm not convinced the bottom end has enough weight. After recently adding a new amp into my monitor/sub setup I think I might need to test it out on some big systems to get a better idea.

Thanks again for the kind words, much appreciated!

Great track man, love the wobbly bass & those sick stabs! Trés cool.

It's dificult to judge sound-wise, listening on headphones to myspace player, but i found it lacking a bit of sparkle to the high-frequencies?
