How do I get all my presets?

...for Simpler and Impulse. I downloaded my version of Live 4.0.1 and there's only two presets for each. When I recieved my boxed version, I noticed that there's just one huge installation file on the installation CD. And what about the Keyfax midi clips? Do I have to reinstall the program from the CD to get all the goodies? And what happens when I upgrade to 4.0.3?

Hi Anubis,

the content of Live 4 is the same but in the small download version of Live has only two presets for Simpler and Impulse to reduce the download size.

You can copy the Factory Presets and Factory Content of Live 4 from the boxed version into Live 4.0.3 or you can download the bigger download version of Live 4.0.3.

The MIDI files are the same only the directory name we had to change because a licence agreement. Before it was called "MIDI Files" and not it is "MIDI Loops by Keyfax" contained in the "Factory Content" folder.

Thanks for your prompt reply Alex. But I still don't understand. I have not installed Live from the cd, just the small download when I upgraded. I don't see any directories on the installation cd, just a large exe file. Do I need to install Live from the disk to access the content that I'm missing?

Just go to the Ableton download page.

Enter your Registration code in 'free updates'
Select wich platform u use and you can select the size of the download.
The 100+mb download contains all presets.
