You make a good point. I think we will try something along the lines of providing clips with "demo sounds" for midi effects in the future.

That way each effect will have a companion clip illustrating the use.

Thanks for your feedback :)
OR a copious use of the "notes" box could be helpful

ahem. Cheap as in "inexpensive", mind you. :)

Just out of curiosity, you did notice that the player has a scrollbar on the right side, right?

There are 15 sample mp3s online for Traces 1.
mbp 2.66, osx 10.6.8, 8GB ram.

I hope I didn't start some sort of conception that ANY of the Cov Op's stuff isn't priced ridiculously low. ALL of their offerings are chump change and definitely worth the wonga.

Oh, great. Do I have to start Googling to figure out what wonga is supposed to mean, now? Is that a type of magic? Perhaps a mushroom used for bartering in a tribal colony in a remote island nation? God, the internets are confusing!!

hold it.

wonga is slang for money in England, some Brit taught me that for all I know it actually means 'infected foreskin.'

The "notes" feature in Live is still in its early stages. You really have to pay attention to find a note.

I've put up a video that hopefully illustrates this pack a bit better. Check it out at: http://www.covops.org/index.php/Latest/Traces-Demo.html

Thanks for the vid.

BTW. I never intended cheap in a derogatory manner. I still use soundwreckz for inspiration, and I have been using it for years it seems.

The lessons that can be learned by reverse engineering your patches teaches more about the possibilities for live's workflow than anything I've come by yet.

Fifty Arpeggiator Racks ready to use. Great for inspiration. Good price. Notes and melodies can help you make better music than sounds.

This thread went a little sideways so I wanted to chime in with my thought.

I picked this up and I'm really happy with it, it's my first Cov Ops pack and just seeing how some of the arps racks are created was worth the price of entry alone, great pack.

hi coelho,

we haven't received the receipt yet from paypal, for some reason. I will look into it, and in the meantime we will send you the link on good faith ;)

Sorry for the wait.

Don't forget to check out our videos on Advanced Arpeggiator Programming techniques if you haven't already.
It will explain a lot of what is going on in these Racks.
