Hey gang. I've been posting music on myspace steadily for about 2 years now, and I just picked up Live last November (a nice birthday present from my wife). All of the stuff I make is used only with what came with the box, so it might not sound a "professional" as it could.
All of these songs have been re-uploaded, so that's why the play count is really low. I didn't make all of these songs at the same time.
A few of the songs have vocals, so you might want to skip my less than stellar voice and go directly to the instrumental tracks.
I'd appreciate any feedback and friend requests are welcome!
Here's a bit of info about each track:
"The Lucky Ones" is a new one I just put up. Takes a bit to get started but it gets pretty full by the end.
"Dark Side Light Side" was just finished last week. Vocals need polishing.
"3 4 Start" is probably the most unremarkable of the bunch, but it's also the shortest.
"She Said" also needs vocal polish (hell, ALL my vocals need polishing), but it sounds a little bit different than the others (maybe)
"Indigo Park" is another pop song.
"Plastic Mothers from the 60's" seems to be the most popular of all of my songs. I had originaly made it using a half broken 70's keyboard a year ago and then re-recorded it in Live.
"Yellow" is not a cover of the Coldplay song. It was part of a project I was making involving colors. It sounds the most like a straight up Nintendo song.

Nintendo influenced electro-pop
didnt check out all the tracks... but yeah perhaps a little be more reverb or effects on the vocal track to make it more profound...
i do like your style though... could use a little bit more complexity but it reminds me of uh... on the tip of my tongue... a minimal four tet with a more nintendo influence? (sorry bad guess haha)
take a look at my sound if you have a chance... i added you as a friend on myspace. The vanished remix i have on my myspace samples a lot of NES sounds too so its probably up your alley.
keep at it though man. cheers

Thanks for taking the time to check out my music.
Yeah, I would use a different singer if I had one, the only problem is that I live in Japan and the only other person I know makes me sound like Frank Sinatra by comparison.
As for the simplicity, part of that is the fact that I don't have a midi keyboard so I'm forced to use the computer keyboard. That means I'm stuck at an octave at a time (which is why most of my melodies use small distances between notes). The other part is that I like the process of MAKING songs more than the finished product. I usually make a finished song in two session (barring any mixing tweaks later). Quantity of quality, my friend.
