Got a curve. Best phone I've ever had (upgraded from a razr, so that ain't saying much!) Mines one with GPS on it. Wish I got the one with wi fi.
Hopefully, when it's time to upgrade I will get a Bold, it has both.
ITS NOT WHAT YOU GOT.........

The Curve has the highest radiation emission of all smartphones. If you keep it next to your nuts, be prepared for two-headed mutant children. And if you don't use a headset, then tumor city in a few years.

  yeah, you (and several million other users) really seem "troubled" by this as you reach for your credit card...

*hugs*...send pictures of the mutants...

My company has a mixed environment of blackberries and iphones. My advice is to wait for the 3g/iphone 2.0 coming out in June. It will have comparable business class applications and is a nicer overall package than the blackberries. I have a Pearl BTW, and it just has some things I can't live with.

fuck these things.

more and more I see kids hanging out in groups and NOBODY is talking to each other but they're ALL texting away. society's getting weird, as far as I can tell it's not porn either, it's some dissociative culture of non-verbal, non-personal communication.

Speaking of the iPhone, I'll just say that I *hate* the touchscreen. I like buttons, what can I say? It would be badass if it could open and swivel around so the touchscreen becomes just a screen with a QWERTY below it like the enV or Voyager...like a tablet pc I guess...

I teach guitar, and sliding that playback slider to rewind (when figuring out songs in lessons) is a major PITA! I thought the iPod was a hassle, with having to click to go into "search" mode every damn time...but on the iPhone the slightest movement rewinds you a huge amount. Not cool for learning licks!

rant over

Cell phones are pissing me off in general, because I feel like the technology should be farther ahead than it is by now...

I agree 100 percent with your observation sir. Gota love the perks of being a brainwashed slave.
