Live 6 LE to 7 LE

Post by bonnaventure » Sun May 18, 2008 2:56 am

I checked the charts, and tried to figure it out...

But it looks like there is barely anything worth the 50 dollar upgrade... except it looks like they brought back follow and clip envelope manipulation.

Anyone else? I really like the look of the drum racks my friend with 7 suite is using, but I can't afford to drop 300 dollars for the 6 LE to 7 upgrade.

Live 6LE has Clip Envelope editing. Apart from the supposed enhanced audio engine and smart priming in V7, the only real difference I see from 6LE is the time sig change within a track. Not a great enticement really.

BTW, I'm not sure about 7LE, but some users of 7 are finding that instant mapping and their M-Audio Keyboards are not talking to each other anymore.

Cool, just got a M-audio keyboard so I guess I will play it safe and maybe save towards some software instruments like Sampler and Analog if I ever decide to upgrade.
