New User here. How do I get audio files off a CD? The Live browser doesn't open them.

Copy them from the disc directly. If you're using Windows, you might need to rename the files (*.aif) to change their association properly?

Copy the CD to your HD and then open the files in another app like SparkME and export them out as .aiff or.wav files.

Once I rip audio from a CD, I use BIAS Peak to edit, loop and process either a whole track or whatever bits interst me... Any decent Waveform editor will do, though!
