What is the all time "gayest" electronic track ev
It's all subjective, isn't it? What's good to one may be crap to another.
I love DJing 'gay' tracks. They're usually carefree, vibrant, flamboyant, energetic and don't take themselves too seriously.. just fun party tunes, regardless of your sexual persuasion!
Respect to those grown-up and secure enough to accept that we all have different musical tastes... and maybe different sexual orientations, too!

One of my favorite Detroit electro tracks is gaaaaay as hell- "I wanna go down" by Aaron Carl who is also gaaaaaaay as hell. He is an awesome dude who he lays down some straight up funky shit. The funny thing is, a lot of people think it is a female voice in that track (especially when the local boys play it in 45) but its really Aaron Carl just sounding like Aaron Carl.
...which led me to finding this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=huavJMGUbiI - Smalltown Boy (extended mix) - which, pardon my French, is fecking stunning.suburbanbather wrote:...

Knew you'd be pleased.
While were on the subject of Gay + Electronic music, has anybody seen this movie-

Sad, but still a movie worth watching more than a couple times.

Oscar-
Little Louis - French Kiss????? wait a second... I was like 16 when I first heard that song, almost crashed the car and ripped a hole in my pants. funny to read a gay man calling a song featuring a moaning woman gay.
killer track though. I was gonna warp it to put into my mashup set, it didn't take long to realise that that was a stupid idea.

Man I have been too more than my fair share of underground Warehouse Parties ( Gay parties) back in the 80's primarily 86-91 and French Kiss used to whip the dance floor into a frenzy and then some.
Somewhere between a rock and a hard place is actually nowhere.

Yeah French Kiss was awesome - i can remember Sunrise in Princes Risborough when this was played - fucking brilliant. Also that Steve Hurly mix of Roberta Flack's Look Out always makes me think of 1989 and the brain cells i left in various fields and warehouses....
